好男孩由本·卫肖,玛丽昂·贝利,迪诺·费切尔,保罗·查希迪,马克·蒙迪欧领衔主演，作为优质电影作品，Out of money and out of luck, Danny finds himself at a desperate crossroads, his once-bright prospects dimmed by mounting debts and a life that seems to have passed him by. With no savings, no steady job, and a relentless sense of despair, he hatches a reckless plan: to rob a bank, a desperate bid to turn his fortunes around. But Danny isn’t alone in his madness—he enlists the help of his mother, Jackie, a fiercely independent woman with a penchant for chaos and an anarchic streak that makes her the perfect partner in crime, if not the most predictable one. Jackie, ever the wildcard, sees the robbery not just as a financial lifeline but as a thrilling act of rebellion against a world that has wronged them both. Together, they map out a hasty, ill-conceived scheme, Danny’s nerves frayed by the weight of his desperation and Jackie’s wild energy barely containing her excitement at the prospect of chaos.Their plans, however, hit an unexpected snag when they arrive at the bank’s doorstep. Just as Danny is mustering the courage to step inside, a familiar figure blocks his path: Dr. Miller, their family doctor, who has been treating Jackie for chronic health issues and Danny for his own deep-seated anxiety. The doctor’s calm, professional demeanor contrasts sharply with the tension crackling in the air, and his presence alone sends a jolt through Danny, who had been counting on the element of surprise. Dr. Miller, sensing the urgency and unease in Danny’s posture, steps forward with a gentle but firm voice, his eyes narrowing with a mix of concern and confusion. “Danny,” he says, his tone betraying none of the chaos Danny might expect from a man who’s about to commit a felony, “is this really what you want? There must be another way.”The doctor’s unexpected confrontation shatters Danny’s resolve. In that moment, the adrenaline-fueled bravado that had carried him this far crumbles, replaced by a wave of guilt and self-doubt. He had imagined the heist as a grand escape, a way to rewrite his story, but facing Dr. Miller—someone who knows him at his most vulnerable, who has seen him at his lowest and tried to help—exposes the hollow truth of his plan. The doctor’s words, though well-intentioned, cut through Danny’s defenses like a scalpel, reminding him that crime isn’t the answer, that there are people who care about him, and that he deserves better than this. As Jackie, standing behind him, hisses in frustration at the interruption, Danny falters, his hand trembling as he reaches for the doorknob. The moment hangs in the balance: the weight of his past mistakes, the fear of getting caught, and the quiet plea in Dr. Miller’s eyes all collide, leaving Danny paralyzed. He realizes, with a sinking heart, that his dreams of a quick fix were just that—dreams. And in that realization, he makes a choice: to back down, to turn away from the bank, and to confront his problems head-on, even if it means facing them alone.
